Phillylacrosse Boys’ Rankings: @Fords_Lacrosse takes over top spot

1. Haverford School (7-3) Prev. No. 3: The Fords take over the top spot with their 10-9 win over Malvern Prep, a 15-8 conquest of Episcopal Academy and a 9-6 triumph over Salisbury School (CT). They face Brunswick School (CT) Saturday at the Katie Samson Foundation Festival at Radnor.

2. Malvern Prep (7-3) Prev. No. 1: The Friars dropped two games last week, bowing to Haverford School, 10-9, and Delbarton (NJ), 13-11, at EVANFEST. They meet Hun School at the KSF Saturday.

3. Upper Dublin (7-0) Prev. No. 4: The Cardinals play No. 5 Spring-Ford Saturday at the KSF.

4. La Salle (8-1) Prev. No. 5: The Explorers host North America’s top-ranked team, Hill Academy (Ontario), on Friday.

5. Spring-Ford (8-0) Prev. No. 6: The Rams play No. 3 Upper Dublin Saturday at the KSF.

6. Bishop Shanahan (5-0) Prev. No. 7: The Eagles host Cardinal O’Hara today.

7. Strath Haven (8-0) Prev. No. 10: The Panthers have a key game Thursday at Conestoga.

8. Salesianum School (6-1) Prev. No. 9: The Sals toppled Worcester Prep (MD), 14-8, on Friday.

9. Garnet Valley (5-2) Prev No. 11:The Jaguars plays Springfield-Delco (away) and Ridley (home) this week in the Central League.

10. Hun School (5-1) Prev. No. 2: The Raiders play Tuesday at St. Augustine Prep.

11. Penncrest (6-1) Prev. No. 12: The Lions play Lower Merion and Haverford High this week in the Central League.

12. Conestoga (6-2) Prev. No. 13:The Pioneers play at Marple Newtown Tuesday and then host Strath Haven Thursday in a showdown of undefeated Central League teams.

13. Manheim Township (8-0) Prev. No. 14 The Blue Streaks have won every game by 10 goals or more.

14. St. Augustine Prep (4-3) Prev. No. 15: The Hermits gave National power IMG National a battle before falling, 12-11; they host Hun School on Tuesday and face St. Joseph’s Prep at the KSF.

15. (tie) Lenape (NJ) 7-0 Prev. NR: The Indians gained a key 10-9 triple overtime win over St. Joseph’s Prep.

15. (tie) Avon Grove (4-1) Prev. No. 15: The Devils face Conestoga Saturday at the KSF.
