What will you major in/study? Biomedical Engineering

Why did you choose this school? “I chose it for the great combination of academics with merit scholarship in the Honors College at UD and the Biomedical Engineering department, and the opportunity to play Division 1 lacrosse with UD in the CAA.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We are currently undefeated in our PIAA games. We have some big league games coming up this week, and league playoffs next week. We hope to repeat as District 3 champions (making it 3 out of my 4 years), and make a deep run in States.”

People to thank: “My ‘recruitment’ was not typical by any means. It really came down to what I felt most comfortable with academically, socially, and athletically. First, many thanks to my parents for all of their support. I have been coached by great people from 3rd grade on; too many to mention individually. But, I owe a huge thank you to Greg Gurenlian and the Faceoff Academy and their coaches for turning me into a true faceoff athlete. Also, the Philly Faceoff League and Coach Bodnar and Dolente have been instrumental in my development. My original high school coaches: Coach Kyle Wimer, Dave Espenshade, and Chris Nicodemi for great mentorship and a great run for three years. And, Coach Lyons, my current high school head coach, and league coach of the year, and his assistants, for taking our team and working with the players this year to continue to improve us individually and as a team. Thanks also to Coaches Ebe Helm and Jason Christmas and the Dukes family.”
