Phillylacrosse Boys’ Rankings: No. 5 @SHBoysLacrosse shoots for outright Central League crown Tuesday

The Phillylacrosse.com Boys’ Rankings:

1. Haverford School (15-4) Prev. No. 1: The Fords host La Salle today and can clinch the Inter-Ac League title Tuesday by defeating Germantown Academy.

2. Malvern Prep (14-4) Prev. No. 2: The Friars host Penn Charter on Tuesday.Image may be NSFW.

3. La Salle (12-2) Prev. No. 3: The Explorers have a big test today at Haverford School.

4. Avon Grove (13-1) Prev. No. 4: The Red Devils can clinch the Ches-Mont league title by defeating Bayard Rustin Tuesday and West Chester East on Thursday

5. Upper Dublin (15-1) Prev. No. 5: The Cardinals clinched the Suburban One American title and close their regular season Thursday at Springfield-Delco.

6. Spring-Ford (17-1) Prev. No. 6: The Rams face Boyertown in the PAC-10 semifinals on Tuesday.

7. Strath Haven (14-2) Prev. No. 9: The Panthers have clinched at least a tie for their first Central League championship ever and can win it outright by topping second-place Garnet Valley on Tuesday. A GV win would force a three-way tie for the title if Conestoga also defeated Upper Darby.

8. Salesianum School-DE (12-2) Prev. No. 8: The Sals closed their regular season with a 15-6 win over Cambridge (MD) and should get the top seed in the Delaware state tourney.

9. Garnet Valley (12-4) Prev No. 10:The Jaguars can win a share of the Central League title by defeating first-place Strath Haven on Tuesday.

10. Conestoga (11-5) Prev. No. 12:The Pioneers, for one day, are the biggest Garnet Valley fans around. They need the Jaguars to beat Strath Haven Tuesday and they must beat Upper Darby for a three-way tie for the Central League title.

11. Bishop Shanahan (12-2) Prev. No. 7: The Eagles look to rebound this week after suffering losses to Avon Grove (9-5) and Garnet Valley (9-6).

12. Wilson (18-0) Prev. NR: The Bulldogs are a District 3 favorite.

13. Hun School-NJ (9-5) Prev. No. 13: The Raiders fell to Hill Academy (ONT), 16-5, and host Lawrenceville today.

14. Henderson (10-4) Prev. NR The Warriors break into the rankings after a 7-6 win over Penncrest. They also have a victory over Haverford High.

15. Moorestown-NJ (13-2) Prev. NR: The Quakers host St. Augustine Prep on Wednesday and St. Joseph’s Prep on Friday.
