The high school lacrosse teams in the Lehigh Valley will once again team with Angel 34 to showcase the area senior lacrosse players for the 3rd annual Angel 34 Lehigh Valley Lacrosse Senior All-Star Game on June 24 at Nazareth’s Andrew S. Leh Stadium.
The girls’ game will be played at 4:00 p.m. and the boys’ game to follow at 6:15 p.m.
The top 6 girls and the top 6 boys who raise the most money will be eligible to participate in a skills competition. The winner will be granted a gift. The skills competition for the girls will take place before the girls game at 3:30 p.m. The skills competition for the guys game will take place as soon as the girls game is over at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Starting off the girls game will be two former Lehigh Valley high school players who currently play at the collegiate level for a ceremonial first draw control. Mike Bender, former college lacrosse player at University of Maryland and current Director of Operations for HEADtrong Lehigh Valley, will be a part of the ceremonial face off before the boys’ game.
There will be MVPs chosen for each game and each MVP will receive a trophy.
The rosters are below. The teams will be released to the media on June 20.
Lehigh Valley Senior Lacrosse All-Star Game committee is requesting sponsors in various capacities for the game in order make a special donation to Angel 34 from the area lacrosse programs. Sponsorship levels are as follows:
Angel 34 is a local organization united in the fight against Childhood Cancer and dedicated to finding a cure. 100% of the funds raised and donated provide much needed services and support.
