Why did you choose this school? “I chose Penn State for several reasons. Penn State enjoys a great academic reputation and has one of the best sports traditions in college. I really like the idea of playing lacrosse at a Big 10 school and competing against the best teams in the nation. Coach (Jeff) Tambroni was awesome and I really want to be part of the vision he has for Penn State Lacrosse which includes winning a National Championship and creating the best team possible. Penn State has a beautiful campus and it includes great facilities.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017: “As in incoming Freshman I will be working really hard this offseason with the hopes of making Varsity. Malvern is one of top high schools in the country and they have a lot of talent coming back. I plan on really getting myself into shape so I can be a contributor this Spring.”
People to thank? “I would first off like to thank my parents; my mom, who has made so many sacrifices for me and my siblings to have the life we have today; my dad for his vision for the Rising Sons and his determination to make every single kid better on and off the field is truly a blessing. He has given me and plenty of other kids the opportunity to train and work with the best and compete against the best; my siblings have also made sacrifices that were hard for them but I thank them for that; Todd MacFarlane, Billy Conners, Adam Mueller, and Matt Mackrides have had a positive role in developing all aspects of my lacrosse game, thank you; John McEvoy has helped me improve my game and has given me the chance to play at Malvern Prep and be a part of something great. Lastly, I would like to thank my teammates. All of my teammates have helped me on the field and off the field tremendously. They have given me friendships that will last a lifetime.”
Other school considered: Penn, Michigan, Richmond, Georgetown
