Valor Christian (CO) 2017 midfielder Dalton Ziegler has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Delaware.
Dalton Ziegler ledger:
High School: Valor Christian High School, CO
Graduation Year: 2017
Position: Offensive Midfielder
College Choice: University of Delaware
Club Affiliation: Doco Devils
Major lacrosse honors: 2x All-Conferance
Why did you choose school? “I love the business school, I loved the coaches, it is the alma mater of my high school coach, John Grant Jr.,; and I really liked the campus.”
Thoughts on your HS team’s season? “The HS season was awesome; we went undefeated until the state championship. We lost 17-12 to Aspen. It was really heartbreaking to lose in the state Championship after going undefeated. But I really enjoyed it; we really came together as a team. Everyone really got along and it was just awesome to play with the kids on the team.”
Thank You: “I’d really like to thank my high school coach, John grant Jr. He really made me a better player this spring season so coming into summer I was ready and after UD saw me play this summer he really helped me out by talking to them and getting me in touch with them.”
Other schools considered: Monmouth, Jacksonville, Quinnipiac
