Phillylacrosse.com honors the 2016 All-Phillylacrosse.com Girls’ Team for Delaware.

Players of the Year: MF Abby Manning, Tower Hill; ATT Lizzie Frederick, Cape Henlopen.
Coach of the Year: PJ Kesmodel, Cape Henlopen – Guided Cape to eighth straight state title on his 73rd birthday; had nine-year mark of 143-17-1, including a 99-game winning streak against in-state foes.

Lizzie Frederick, Cape Henlopen, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, Delaware Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association Co-Player of Year … Helped lead Cape to 17-1 record and eighth straight state title … Had 66 goals and 34 assists … Signed with Temple.
Lauren Phillips, Caravel, Jr. – First-Team All-State … Helped lead Buccaneers to 14-3 season and berth in state semifinals … Committed to Jacksonville.
Brooke Schmeusser, Ursuline Academy, Jr. – First-Team All-State.
Cailey Thornburg, Cape Henlopen, Jr. – Second-Team All-State … Helped lead Cape to 17-1 record and eighth straight state title … Had 46 goals, 17 assists and 84 draw controls … Committed to Mercer.

Ali McKay, Polytech, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American, First-Team All-State … Had 78 goals and 26 assists … Will play field hockey at Bloomsburg.
Erin O’Doherty, Ursuline Academy, Jr. – Second-Team All-State … Had 63 goals.
Kendra Schweizer, St. Mark’s, Soph. – Second-Team All-State … Committed to Delaware.
Eddy Shoop, Cape Henlopen, Jr. – US Lacrosse All-American and First-Team All-State … Helped lead Cape to 17-1 record and eighth straight state title … Transfer from Severn School (MD) had 40 goals … Committed to Florida.
Jamie Trabaudo, Polytech, Sr. – US Lacrosse All-American … Had 57 goals and 25 assists for the Panthers, who went 14-3 and reached the state semifinals. … Signed with North Carolina.
