Boyertown Area Senior High 2017 defenseman Grayson Hamrick has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Haverford College.

Why did you choose Haverford? “Haverford was really the right fit for me since the beginning, looking at the small class sizes, opportunities for undergraduate research, and general atmosphere of truly upper-level learning and education. Staying somewhat close to home was important, and Haverford fit the bill with a stellar reputation both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field.”
Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We return a lot of contributors from last year’s playoff-caliber squad and with a new coach. We hope to contend for a league championship and district berth.”

I would also be remiss not to thank my Black Bear coaches Bryan Churchey and Sean Tischler and former Boyertown head coach Sean Kooker, who helped shape me into the lacrosse player I am today.”
