Why did you choose this school? “I chose UNC because it has everything I was looking for in a college. It has an amazing combination of top notch academics and lacrosse. Coach (Jenny) Levy creates a positive environment and stresses the importance of teamwork. The campus atmosphere and whole coaching staff were so welcoming, I couldn’t see myself anywhere else.”
Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We started the 2016 season as the underdogs and then went on a 13-game winning streak to land a Ches-Mont League Title. This year we will have to prove that we are still the team to beat. I’m looking forward to playing alongside my great teammates and winning back to back titles!”
People to thank: “I have to thank my parents for their constant support and guidance to help me reach my goals. I would also like to thank my teammates for making me a better player and person as well as my amazing coaches: Kevin Ryan, Christa Somits, Mark Pinkerton, Colleen Magarity, Kate Henwood and my high school soccer coach, Craig Ree,d who has spent so much time to help me in this recruiting process, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without his great advice and support.
