Haverford High 2017 midfielder Nick DiIorio has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose this school? “I chose Widener for the academic and athletic balance. Widener also is a great business school which I plan on studying.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “With the seniors returning I believe we can be the most competitive team and win the Central League.”

People to thank: “I would I like to first thank my parents for always being there for me and supporting me in everything I do. I would also like to thank coach Dan Greenspun for all that he has done for me and pushing me to be the best player I could be as well all of my prior lacrosse coaches. Lastly, I would like to thank the HEADstrong Foundation for allowing me to be a part of their family.”
