Egg Harbor Township (N.J.) 2017 defender Celest Orbe has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Philadelphia University.

Why did you choose this school? “I love how close-knit the team and school was, and I love how close it is to home. I really love the academics as well as how beautiful the school is.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “I think our team is more than ready for the 2017 season. We only graduated two seniors and we have lots of young talent on the team. I really want our team to compete in the Cape Atlantic League.”
People to thank: “I wanted to thank my club coaches Joe Sheffer, Megan Devlin, Joann McLaughlin, Chris Boyle, and Michael Wolf for everything they’ve done for me. I also wanted to thank my high school coach Franklin Williams, and my parents for pushing me to pursue my dreams of playing college lacrosse.”
