Bayard Rustin JV / Assistant Varsity Coach

West Chester Rustin has a JV coaching opening for the Spring 2017 lacrosse season. West Chester Rustin looks to build on its recent success and continue to groom strong student athletes while competing with top programs from the Ches-Mont League and District 1.

The regular season runs from March 6th through May 11th with the expectations of playoffs following. Practices are run daily from 3-5PM on the Rustin campus. The game schedule for this season can be found here: 2017 WC Rustin Schedule.

Expectations of the coach are to help plan and run practices with current JV coach, focusing on fundamentals, speed and love of the game. Coach will have ample access to, and help from current varsity staff as well as the opportunity to help there when schedule allows if you so choose. Past playing experience required, past coaching experience preferred but not required. Experience training goalies and/or face-offs also preferred but not required. Unionville head coach

Archbishop Wood JV Head coach

Archbishop Wood High School (Warminster, PA) is looking for a JV Head coach. This is a coaching-only position with some other responsibilities. We participate in fall and winter activities as well. Coaching staff
will have the opportunity to attend local/national coaching conventions. JV Head coach will participate in some Varsity activities, but his main concern is for the JV program. Previous lacrosse coaching experience desired for JV Head coach. Face-off or goalie experience a plus.

Great Valley JV coach

Great Valley High School boys’ lacrosse is looking to supplement their coaching staff with the immediate need for a JV head coach. Great Valley is a solid program with a strong winning tradition. The team competes in the competitive Ches-Mont League, and players are already working hard to continue their success in 2017.

The ideal candidate will have prior playing and coaching experience. Schedule is flexible, but practices will typically take place after school from 3:00-5:30 pm. The JV team/coach will work closely with the varsity program to build the team and strengthen the abilities of all players. Appointment: Part-Time, 3 months.

Coatesville head coach

The Coatesville High School Boys’ Lacrosse Club is seeking a Head Coach and assistant coach for the newly formed program. This position is part-time and will work under the direct supervision of the athletic director and the Coatesville Youth Lacrosse Association. In addition to coaching the club team, this person will serve closely with the Youth Lacrosse Association in developing the program from 2nd grade through 12th grade, scheduling games and practices for the 9th-12th grades, communicating with parents and players, securing referees, and managing the rest of the boys’ lacrosse coaching staff. Candidates who contribute to the cultural and ethnic diversity of the community are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have previous coaching experience. Head coaching experience is advantageous but not necessary.

USA Sports Group PT and FT Coaching Opportunities

USA Sports Group is the premier provider of youth sports training in the North East and has offered sports programs and clinics for over twenty years. We are seeking Lacrosse Coaches for full time , part time , or seasonal employment with flexible scheduling to suit your availability. As a USA Lacrosse coach you will be provided with a specially designed curriculum. USA Lacrosse Coaches will be responsible for working with children aged 3 to 14, however the majority of coaching you will be assigned to carry out will be with children aged 10 and under at a beginner to intermediate level . In many instances this will be the child’s first time playing the sport.

At a minimum, you should have experience playing lacrosse and working with children under age 10. You will need to be able to deliver a confident, well structured lacrosse lesson to all ages and abilities. Outside the box thinking is a key requirement. Norristown assistants

Norristown High School is seeking assistant coaches to work with student athletes in practices and games. Coaches will teach lacrosse and provide youth with opportunities to learn and play, as well as inspiring them to recognize their potential and realize their dreams. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development, an effective communicator and wants to give back. They will work with head coach John Hildebrand, OWU Lacrosse 1972-1976.

Accelerated Student Athletes (ASA) Lacrosse

Accelerated Student Athletes (ASA) Lacrosse are looking for two coaches (offense and defense) to coach the 5/6th & 7/8th Winter Lax teams. Candidates must show enthusiasm and have a competitive approach to lacrosse related activities. Candidates have to be present at all practices and can flip flop Sunday league games or travel tournaments. This is a paid opportunity and a ongoing evaluation to be considered to coach both teams in the Spring. The Spring season is also paid opportunity.

Archbishop Ryan head coach

Archbishop Ryan seeks a full-time, experienced, dynamic Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach to start in the Fall of 2016. Qualified applicants will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
• Supervise the instruction in the sport of Boys Lacrosse for both Varsity & JV
• Organize and run all Boys Lacrosse Varsity team practices.
• Game Management for all Varsity Boys Lacrosse team games.
• Assist in attracting quality Student-Athletes to Archbishop Ryan.
• Assist in attracting and supervising quality assistant coaches for the Boys Lacrosse program.
• Attend all League Meetings of the Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coaches.
• Meet with the Director of Athletics on a frequent basis to review the status of the program.

Quakertown High School Varsity Boys Head Coach

QCSD boys’ varsity lacrosse team is seeking a head coach who will strive to build a highly competitive and challenging program for the student-athlete. This is not a teaching position. Spring 2017 will be our 3rd year as a team. Candidates should have coaching experience and preferably playing experience at the high school and/or college level or beyond. We typically have about 25 players, and are hoping to add a JV squad in the near future. We will be in the Suburban One, Continental Conference. Coaching candidates should be prepared to:

• Complete required testing and background checks
• Prepare preseason training and practice plans
• Instruct fundamental skills and concepts throughout the season
• Be able to specialize by position or skill as required

Candidates must be willing and able to communicate with players, administration, booster club, and parents as necessary to keep information flowing. The head coach should be willing to assist in seeking an assistant coach. Coaches will report to the booster club the first year, while indirectly working with the athletic director.

Pre-season practices begin indoors two to three days a week in early January until early March in the evenings, then move outside to the turf field in early March. Practices then continue evenings from 6 to 8 pm Monday thru Thursday, with games generally starting between 3:30 and 5:00pm (with an occasional evening game) throughout the season. There is a possibility to hold outdoor practices after school if preferred.

Quakertown High School has a fabulous turf stadium field, which has lights for evening games if necessary. Salary: TBD based on experience. Part-Time position for approximately 6 months. Available: Now for Spring 2017. Deadline: October 1, 2016.
