Coach’s Outlook for 2017: “The team lost two tremendous goal scorers to graduation. So depending on how this team develops their identity on the attack side of the ball, will have a lot to do with how competitive they will be throughout the season. There is still some great experience on the attack side of the ball and we hope that leadership will pay off as the season gets under way.
“On the defensive side there are some strong players returning and with the addition of perennial All-American nominee Mia Tornetta in goal they will hopefully keep the score close enough for them to find ways to be successful.
“With all that being said, the team hopes to be competitive in a very competitive league in which any of four to five teams could run away with the this year’s championship etc.”
Methacton

Key returnees: Daria Lucchesi, JAckie Cerchio, Alana Cardaci, Julie Byrne
Coach’s Outlook for 2017: “I am positive about this year. We are beginning to gel nicely and we have a good bit of talent. We lost some key players last year in our leading scorer (200 plus career goals, Sara Hughes (St. Joes) and Midfielder Deb Peifer (Manhattan) and our Anchors on defense Kate Markle and Julia Cook (Bloomsberg).
“We have some surprising young talent this year and if we ever get back out on the field we could be explosive!”
