Avon Grove 2016 midfielder Jessie Richardson has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Bloomsburg University.

Academic honors: High Honors through all of high school.
What will you major in/study? Psychology
Why did you choose the school? “Bloomsburg has always been my top choice college. I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else. The campus itself is beautiful and its athletic facilities are amazing! The coaching staff the team has is also great which definitely played a part in my choosing of Bloomsburg!”
Team’s outlook for 2016 HS season: “I think Avon Grove is going to be a strong team. We have very talented seniors that are ready to step up to the plate as well as very talented juniors that are very crucial to our team. I think this season we are going to shock a lot of teams with what we can do as a whole.”
Thank You: “I would love to thank first my parents because they are the ones that had to deal with driving me to every practice and every tournament and all the efforts that comes with playing lacrosse. They always believe in me no matter what the circumstance are and have never doubted me for a second. Also a huge thanks to all my teammates and coaches that have helped me develop the player that I am now.”
