The Inter-Ac League and the Pattison Sports Group will resume their working relationship to host the 2017 Inter-Ac Lacrosse Invitational.Image may be NSFW.

Prior to the 2008-2009 academic year the Inter-Ac departed from under PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association) governance. At that time, Pattison Sports Group (PSG) created and presented the Inter-Ac Post-Season Championship concept to the boys’ lacrosse coaches and received immediate approval. PSG went on to host the prestigious lacrosse championship from 2009-2014 growing its media exposure and attendance every year.
“It is nice to be working again with the Inter-Ac leadership and member institutions. My goal when I created this elite event was to evolve it into a national championship,” said Jeff Long, President & CEO of Pattison Sports Group.
“We are pleased to be managing this event again. We look forward to reaching our goal and putting on another sold out event.”
The ninth annual post-season boys Lacrosse Invitational commences Monday, May 15th with Opening Round games on campus sites. Quarterfinals are Wednesday, May 17th at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken. Cabrini College’s Edith Robb Dixon Field will host the Semifinals 5pm and 7pm Friday, May 19th. The Finals location is TBD.
The tourney will feature all six members of the Inter-Ac League, considered as one of the premier lacrosse leagues in the country; as well as elite private school teams from the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.
Seedings will be posted at the conclusion of the regular season. Tickets are free for Opening Round games, $5 at the gate for Quarterfinals and $7 adults/$5 students for Semifinals and Finals. Seating at Edith Robb Dixon Field is limited. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at https://inter-ac-invitational.ticketleap.com/.
