Keystone State Games tryouts
The Chester County boys’ high school team will hold its first tryout for the Keystone State Games on Thursday, June 22 from 6:30-8 pm at Oxford Area Regional Park, 900 W. Locust St., Oxford. Tryouts are for any rising freshmen through senior residing within the county. Interested players can contact coach Joe Martinelli at 484-340-0102 or ozonelax@yahoo.com. The Keystone Lacrosse championship will be held July 29-30 in York.

Duke’s Mainline LC has a few spots open for its premier season on the summer tournament circuit. We are looking for players in the graduating classes of 2023/2024 to join an already very talented group from the Mainline area that is looking to represent the Duke’s name proudly. Leagues
Summer Indoor Modified Box Lacrosse Leagues, at Maple Zone and run by Heritage Lacrosse. For scholastic and college/post collegiate players, with formats specifically designed to promote safe and fast play based on key box lacrosse fundamentals and concepts. This adult league is primarily designed for college players home for summer break who are interested in playing fun, safe lacrosse to keep their game “tuned up” before they return to campus for field lax. For the high school players, this offers a chance to continue to improve your skills and have some fun in a fast-paced and safe environment. The modified box rules benefit all lacrosse players. Attackmen and midfielders will learn to operate in tight spaces improving stick skills, passing and shooting accuracy. Long sticks are not allowed so all players will learn to play with their body and feet, improving approach and angle play. Goalies will work on proper box goaltending techniques, including positioning, angles, baiting, etc.

Faceoff Clinics
Philly Face-Off League summer clinics, Tuesday nights at Main Line Sports Center, Berwyn. The PFL is a club where face-off players for their respective school or club teams can meet once a week to not only practice their skills against each other, but receive coaching as well. In order to be a part of the league you must have at least one year of experience facing-off at a high level for your school or club team. This league is not for beginners! This is an IDEAL clinic for face-off guys who want to compete against other quality face-off players for 90 minutes while receiving individualized instruction.
The Philly Face-Off League is run by John Bodnar and Mike Dolente. They both have an extensive background in working with some of the best face-off guys in the area and are asking for more guys to compete.
This summer we will continue to be indoors at the Main Line Sports Center in Berwyn, PA! The PFL will run for 10 sessions on Tuesday nights starting May 30 from 6-7:30 PM. Any player in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend. Current college players home from school are welcome to practice as well.

Summer Shootout for Soldiers
Shootout for Soldiers, the 24-hour lacrosse event, will expand to Philadelphia and Episcopal Academy on June 29th and 30th. The charity lacrosse event has raised over $1.5 million since 2012 and will be touring twelve locations throughout the summer. The event is entirely volunteer-led, and a host committee led by Episcopal Academy has helped develop a family-friendly charity event to unite the whole community. The event is composed of 24, 1-hour games in a row and is open to men’s and women’s teams of all ages. Teams must fundraise a minimum of $750 to participate and registration for the events recently opened on March 1st. In addition to lacrosse, there will be live music, food trucks and a festival of fun and activities for the whole family. Those interested in helping plan the event can sign-up on the website. The games are open to both male and female teams of all ages, with honorary Veterans games opening each event. Started by a group of high school students in Maryland, Shootout for Soldiers is a 24-hour lacrosse game benefiting our nation’s heroes. The mission of Shootout for Soldiers is to use the platform of lacrosse to engage communities with their local veterans and support their healthy and successful transition into civilian life. National 175 Best of the Best Individual Showcase, June 28 at Mitchel Athletic Complex, 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale, NY 11553. The event is specifically designed for student athletes seeking to maximize their exposure by showcasing their skills against very strong competition and playing in front of a large quantity of high quality college coaches. This one day showcase on Long Island will offer a special opportunity for players in the 4 recruiting grades (2018-2021) to be seen by what we expect to be a very large number of college coaches. Liberty Bell Challenge, by the Passport Alliance and National 175, July 7 (recruiting showcase for 2018-2021 players) and July 8-9 (team tournament for HS and youth), Plymouth Whitemarsh HS, Germantown Academy, Fort Washington, PA. With over 100 college coaches in attendance last year this has become the most anticipated event of 2017. College Bound Laxers Und1sputed D1 Showcase, July 14 at Stony Brook University. The event is for the top Division I invited prospects from the US and Canada in the classes of 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The event will provide a 6:1 Prospect to Coach Ratio for maximum exposure and visibility.

This exclusive, invite only showcase is limited to the top 240 players from the 2018-2021 graduating classes. Players will be selected after a comprehensive and judicious selection process, to ascertain the top level of talent. Players will be constantly challenged and competing while gauging where they stack up against North America’s finest. In order to be invited to attend this particular showcase, each player must complete the Player Application Form in which directors strongly recommend a highlight video is uploaded. A high school &/or club coach must endorse the athlete by completing the Coaches Nomination Form. Once those two are submitted, directors will have its lacrosse panel – comprised of both former division 1 collegiate athletes and coaches with over 14 years of experience – review each submission.

Our Summer prospect ID camp is designed to further develop your individual lacrosse fundamentals while being evaluated in a team setting by the Lehigh coaching staff. The Maverik Hawk Hill 150, by Saint Joseph’s Lacrosse and Maverik, July 26-28. Hawks Coach Taylor Wray and his staff have taken a different approach in developing the Hawk Hill 150 in an effort to allow players to better showcase themselves for college coaches and prepare for the rigors on NCAA lacrosse.
The Saint Joseph’s staff along with members of other premier NCAA coaching staffs like Duke University, Drexel University, University of Delaware, Lehigh University, University of Richmond, Villanova University and others will put together positional skill sessions, high level college-type practices and drills to assure each player is evaluated in the role that best suits their skill set. By the end of the event participants will walk away better lacrosse players and with a thorough understanding of what it takes to play at the highest level.
At the Maverik Hawk Hill 150 there are three goals for the student-athletes: Learn and improve as a lacrosse player, showcase their talent in front of college coaches, and leave with a better grasp of the recruiting process and a plan to reach their goals.

Victory Events prides itself on hosting elite events at elite venues and delivering the total lacrosse experience. The Boys Summer Slam began in 2010 and in its eighth year has grown into an elite summer staple. Drawing teams from across the country, this event delivers the whole package from high school recruiting at The Westtown School to the youth festival atmosphere at the Thornbury Soccer Complex.
Format: Championship Format; Pool Play with top teams advancing to Single Elimination Championship; four-Game minimum, opportunity for more games for those advancing to playoff; 44 minute game, 22-minute running halves and 2 minute halftime. On the eve of the Boys Summer Slam, four Division I coaches will lead a two-hour Friday Night Clinic at The Westtown School from 6-8PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for Summer Slam participants to learn position specific skills and tips from some of the nation’s top coaches. Registration will be for individuals of all grad years. The National 175 Best of the Best Club Team Showcase was conceived on the premise that the strongest programs in the country want to compete against each other in order to establish which program really is the best team in each graduation year across the nation. East Coast Lacrosse Classic, by Lacrosse Federation, July 8-9, at Caravel Academy campus in Delaware a short drive from Philadelphia, Baltimore and the East Coast Beaches. The ECLC is a small 30 team, highly competitive 2-day tournament for high school aged teams. It is played at one site only for each club’s convenience. In its first year over 30 college coaches attended. All programs that attend will have a highlight video and interview included in their team fee for their program.

The 5th annual Hershey Lacrosse Shootout for boys’ and girls’ teams on July 15th & 16th at In the Net Sports Complex in Palmyra, PA. This tournament, run by My Lacrosse Tournaments, has become a fast favorite on our summer circuit of events. Teams from all over the northeast travel to participant in an action packed weekend.
With over 65 teams expected to attend in 2017, this event provides high quality lacrosse and family fun just miles from Hersheypark, one of the top rated amusement parks in the country.
All games in this 2-day championship tourney event will take place at In the Net Sports complex (798 Airport Rd
