Haverford School 2018 attackman TJ Malone has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Amherst College.

Why did you choose Amherst? “I chose Amherst because it’s an amazing school where I can get a great education and a great job after college. Also, because I really like Coach John Thompson. He is an awesome guy and his playing style is similar to mine so I think I’ll fit very well in his offense.”
HS team’s 2017 accomplishments: Inter-Ac champs, runner-up in Inter-Ac Invitational, Top 20 national ranking, #1 team in Philadelphia
Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to play for all of these years. Also, I would like to thank my youth lacrosse coach, Duane Lawrence, for showing my the fundamentals and being my coach for 5 years. Also I would like to thank my middle school coaches, Tom Wolf and Buddy Meredith. I would like to thank all of my NXT coaches for taking a chance on me when I was a scrawny freshman. Finally, I would like to thank my Haverford coaches, John Nostrant and Mark Petrone, for helping my improve everyday on the field and off.”
