Earlier this summer, US Lacrosse posted a video about a new lacrosse program at Ferris School (Del.), a a secure care, accredited treatment facility providing services for up to 72 court committed males, ages 13 to 18.Image may be NSFW.

As part of US Lacrosse’s support of the Ferris School program, we partnered with the Sankofa Lacrosse Foundation to bring experienced lacrosse players to Ferris to offer instruction and share their life experiences with the sport.
“I think as a lacrosse player and an ambassador of the sport, I’ve been given multiple opportunities,” said Chazz Woodson, co-founder of Sankofa and a Major League Lacrosse player with the Florida Launch. “It’s sort of my responsibility and obligation to give back. It’s important to me personally, but I think it’s important for all of us as caretakers of the sport to give back.”
