Mainland Regional (N.J.) 2018 goalie Hinter Faunce has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Neumann University.

Why did you choose Neumann? “I chose Neumann because the program, coaches, and school fit everything that I was looking for. Everybody was extremely outgoing and always came with a smile on their face. You could tell the students and athletes really enjoyed to be where they were and that was important to me. The coach was extremely nice and outgoing and had a whole plan set up for me before I even walked in the door.”
HS team’s 2018 outlook: “Win the Cape Atlantic League. We lost to Shawnee in the Semis & look to surpass that this year go to State Finals.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for making me who I am today. They taught me respect, manners, and discipline. My dad is a huge part of my lacrosse life because he’s the one staying up all day working his butt off to make sure I get a good education at a nice school. He studies the goalie position even though he has never heard of lacrosse before I started playing. I would also like to say thank you to my mother because she’s the one always giving me rides to games, showing her passion and support towards me on and off the field, and win or lose, still loving me to death. Lastly, my step parents are a huge support for me. They brought a ton of excitement & support for me and my team. Thanks to Mainland coaches Hale & Smith.”
