Bridgewater-Raritan (N.J.) 2017 midfielder/face-off specialist Joe Lenskold has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Delaware.

Why did you choose school? “I loved the feel at Delaware after staying there twice for tournaments. I wanted to go to a bigger school and also the academic side of Delaware hooked me.”
Thoughts on your HS team’s 2017 season? “We want to get to another TOC and win the state title again after an undefeated season.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank coach Apel for always riding me and for trying to get me to be the best I could be. If it wasn’t for him I would be nowhere near where I’m at today.
“I would also like to thank coach Kurdyla and coach Lovejoy. Coach Kurdyla worked with me everyday during the season and also the summer and made me substantialy better at face-offs. He also helped guide me along the recruiting process. Coach Lovejoy always had confidence in me when I played. He helped me a lot when I was just learning the game. Also I would like to thank him for helping a lot during the recruiting process.”
