Penn Charter Collegiate Level Clinic, got middle school boys, to support the Katie Samson Foundation on Saturday, March 3. The event is presented by the Penn Charter High School Lacrosse Coaching Staff and players. Who: 5th-8th grade boys – all positions. Penn Charter HS lacrosse team will practice immediately following the clinic. Participants are encouraged to stay and observe.

NXTsports Cradle Lacrosse., co-ed beginner lacrosse program for ages 4-7 years old. It focuses on core skill development in a one-of-a-kind, unrivaled environment. Cradle’s six-week program focuses on building a player’s confidence through basic games while teaching the fundamentals. The key to our curriculum is providing opportunities for success for each player in a safe and energetic environment. Most importantly we provide all of the equipment, there is nothing for you to buy.

1st Start Lacrosse is a program where the basics to the game are broken down and taught in a fun and exciting environment. It’s for children, boys and girls, ages 4-7 and it will be coached by all former players now educators in the Philly area who have an extreme passion for the game. 1st Start features a 6-week program on Sundays starting January 14 where each session will be 60 minutes long.
1st Start STARTer sticks will be provided at every session along with a 1st Start STARTer pack, where each child will receive a 1st Start T-Shirt, Sweatband, and Sticker!
There will be 3 different 1st Start locations this winter. Episcopal Academy, Swarthmore College, and the All Sports Center in Collegeville!

Face-Off Leagues
Philly Face-Off League at Ampro Sports. In order to be a part of the league you must have at least one year of experience facing-off at a high level for your school or club team. This is an IDEAL clinic for face-off guys who want to compete against other quality face-off players for 90 minutes while receiving individualized instruction. The Philly Face-Off League is run by John Bodnar and Mike Dolente. They both have an extensive background in working with some of the best face-off guys in the area and are asking for more guys to compete.

NXTsports Play Fast Lacrosse, for boys aged 4 to 7. The Play Fast Training curriculum is built around progression drills, position-specific stations and the game of Trashcan Lacrosse: the dynamic 2v2 pick-up game that focuses on developing a great handle, learning to play fast and mastering the 2v1 draw & dump. We introduce a wide range of basic to advanced concepts, add subtle challenges, then ask players to be creative in applying them during small sided games and King of the Can tournaments. All programming is highly organized with a focus on high reps in the core skills of the game. We strive for all players to leave our training sessions with the tools and inspiration to take their game to the NXT level.

Black Bear’s Lacrosse Academy (BBLA) is for intermediate to advanced lacrosse players who are looking to take their game to the next level. NXTsports Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse League, Proving Grounds facility in Conshohocken, PA. The 2018 Boys League will feature over 50 teams in competition. Teams will play eight league games on four weekends in March, April, and May. They will play two games per league weekend in order to minimize travel and conflicts. New in 2018 is the addition of a championship round in each division, the championship games will be played under the lights in May on the week leading up to Memorial Day Weekend.
The 2018 Boys Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse League will feature divisions for players in the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 graduation years.
Boys teams committed to the 2018 Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse League include:
Brotherly Love, Chosen, Dukes Young Guns, Freedom, HEADstrong Lehigh Valley, NXT, Olde English, BBL, PA Roughriders, SJ Black Storm, Team 11, TeamTEN, Tri-State, Tribal & Uprising.

Spring Tournament
Youth Lacrosse CHAPTER CHALLENGE, April 22 & 28, at the MSI Sports Village in Aston, a youth lacrosse festival for boys and girls that will feature good competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship. Event by Heritage Lacrosse.
Registration is now open for three girls’ divisions (U11, U13, U15) and four boys’ divisions (U9, U11, U13, U15).
Each division will feature two or more brackets to help each time find the appropriate level of play for a good day of festival lacrosse.
The event is open to “Club” and “Travel Teams” and we will have a group teams based on available data to ensure top competition.
We will offer a U15 Elite Bracket for Girls (full checking, provided teams satisfy coaching certification requirements).

Summer Benefit Game
Shootout for Soldiers Philadelphia, June 13 (7 p.m. start, for 24 hours) at Episcopal Academy.

Shootout for Soldiers is a 24 hour lacrosse event with a mission to use lacrosse as a platform to support American veterans and foster community engagement. The games are fun – and are meant to bring the community together in support of our nation’s heroes. There is no championship or all-star team and the score runs for all 24 hours.
There is good food, music and a festival of activities beyond lacrosse that make it a family friendly event for all. Last year SFS Philadelphia raised over $66k dollars through the support of over 700 players and 3,200 spectators in the Philadelphia area.
Those interested can sponsor a team to ensure the team meets its fundraising requirement. Veterans can register for the Veterans Game.
Summer Showcases
Run With The Best Individual Showcase, Stony Brook University, NY. June 2, High School Boys, Grad years 2019-2022. Run with the Best Lacrosse Showcase is one of the first individual lacrosse recruiting showcases of the summer season. This event is open to all rising freshman (2022), sophomores (2021), juniors (2020) and seniors (2019). Individuals will be placed on a team and all teams are coached by college coaches in attendance. Last year colleges from D1, D2 and D3 programs attended to recruit future college players.

Summer Tournaments
Liberty Lacrosse Shootout, June 9-10, a competitive boys’ youth lacrosse tournament in a fun and festive atmosphere that celebrates lacrosse, camaraderie and sportsmanship. The Shootout is held in suburban Philadelphia, a few hours’ drive from lacrosse hotbeds, permitting day trips and ensuring good and diverse competition. We typically draw teams from Greater Philadelphia, Mid-Penn, Lehigh Valley, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Maryland and New York. By Heritage Lacrosse.
Brackets will be organized by grade/graduation year, though we will endeavor to accommodate recreational teams organized by age (i.e., U9, U11, U13, U15). We typically field two levels of play in each bracket based on interest (AA/Elite and A). Dates of play are as follows:

LI Lax Fest, Farmingdale State College, NY, June 15th-17th, Boys and Girls Divisions from Varsity to 2028. The LI Lax Fest, by My Lacrosse Tournaments, is long Island’s largest lacrosse event drawing over 300 teams throughout North America. Top clubs and programs spend a weekend in one of the hotbeds of lacrosse competing against each other in a high – level event. College coaches from Divisions I, II and III pack the sidelines to watch the boys high school divisions throughout the weekend.

Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse Invitational on July 9-11, at Caravel Academy in Bear, DE. The event, run by the Lax Federation, will feature 48 Teams on six fields and over 65 college coaches. Located on the beautiful Caravel Academy campus in Delaware. It is a short drive from Philadelphia, Baltimore and the East Coast Beaches. The LAX FED Mid Atlantic Invitational is a highly competitive 3-day tournament for high school aged teams. 60+ college coaches are on staff to make it a top recruiting event of the summer.
Each team is guaranteed five games over three days. Games begin on Monday July 9 at noon or later and end Wednesday July 11 in the afternoon. Game video for all 5 games will be included for all teams!
All-Star teams will be selected for 2019, 2020, 2021/22 graduation years. They will compete on Tuesday afternoon following our skills competition presented by Epoch Lacrosse.
Epoch Lacrosse, Lax AllStars, and ConnectLAX will be on site for the entire three days catching all the action and taking interviews from coaches, players, and spectators.

Apex Summer Invitational, July 10-11, The College of New Jersey, 00 Pennington Road, Ewing Township, NJ.
Divisions: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022. This small, invite-only lacrosse tournament is for the top lacrosse club programs in the country. The APEX Summer Invitational will feature teams from all over the county in a 2-day event. Each team will play 3 games on Tuesday, followed by 1 game on Wednesday leading into the playoffs. All teams will be guaranteed 5 games. This format allows for all teams to have a great schedule and evenly-matched games. On Tuesday evening an All-Star Game will be held under the lights in the Stadium.

The Cascade National Prospect Elite 80 nominations are being accepted for the event on July 11-12 at the DE Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, DE. For high school boys and girls graduating in 2020, 2021 & 2022 and committed players in the classes of 2018 and 2019. The Cascade National Prospect Elite 80 is geared to maximize athletic recruiting opportunities for athletes and NCAA lacrosse coaches. Entering its third year, the summer Cascade National Prospect Elite 80 brings together a diverse pool of players that want to supplement their club team participation with an individual showcase that is highly regarded to be one of the best – by collegiate level lacrosse coaches.
Whether you’re uncommitted or committed to attend the college of your choice, the National Prospect Elite 80 is your chance to play with and against other 2020, 2021 and 2022 top-tier players in nation this summer.

The USSSA 2018 National Lacrosse Classic and National Lacrosse Academy, by Legacy Global and , will be held on July 16-19 at the Delaware Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, DE.
The 11th annual event brings together the finest players and coaches July 16-19, 2018 in an event offering extreme competition, exposure to the next level of the sport and an Olympic-style lacrosse experience for every player.
Regional team qualifiers are scheduled throughout the country for all players.

Summer Prospect Days
St. Joseph’s Fly with the Hawks Elite Camp, for Classes of 2019, 2020 & 2021, July 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Fly With The Hawks Elite Prospect Day is designed for elite 2018, 2019 and 2020 players that we have seen play and/or who have a strong interest in Saint Joseph’s University. This camp will provide high level instruction from the SJU staff and players while giving participants the opportunity to showcase their ability against top level competition. The camp will include a presentation segment designed to give insight into the life of a college lacrosse player, an overview of the SJU program and helpful information about the recruiting process. We also include a Q&A session with current players. On the field we focus instruction on fundamentals, position work, and competitive simulations. We expose players to the same drills we run during our practice sessions. Our hope is that you leave Hawk Hill having improved your game and with greater understanding of what it takes to play at the college level.
