Last year’s record: 11-8 overall going into second round of districts, 7-6 in the league
Key losses to graduation: Jackie Cerchio, (center), Temple; Daria Lucchesi, Midfield, (JMU);
Alana Cardaci, (Shippensburg)
Key returnees: Julie Byrne, (Midfield/ UC Davis); Sydney Tornetta, Mia Tornetta
Coach’s season outlook: “We will have a young team on the attacking end as we lost a number of key scorers, so we will be looking for some players to step up and replace the leadership and scoring that was done by a trio of attack players last year. We have some experience on the defense and will be looking to Sophomore Rachel O’Toole (Goalie) to quarterback the defense. League outlook, we should be competitive in the league.”

Coach’s outlook for 2018 season: “The 2018 Pottsgrove Lacrosse Team is the strongest and most well rounded team I have had in my 7 seasons. We lost 2 seniors from last season and have gained a very talented and hungry freshmen class. The mix of freshmen combined with the upperclassmen have made practices much more competitive and there is “must win” mentality this season. We have worked hard this preseason and are excited to put everything together out on the field.”
