Central Buks South 2018 midfielder Evan Quinn has been named the Pansini Law Group Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
The award recognizes senior and junior lacrosse players that excel in academics, service and athletics.

What are your college, service, future goals?
Quinn: “I will be enrolling in Drexel University’s accelerated master’s program for computer science. I hope to concentrate in the cyber security sector where I can help to protect private information for whatever company I end up working for. I hope to continue to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and will hopefully help to build homes in the spring and summer of 2018. At Drexel, I hope to get involved with some of the many student run organizations, and continue to help the surrounding community through organization like Drexel University Circle K, which is dedicated to leadership and service in the Philadelphia community.”
How do you describe leadership?
Quinn: “Leadership can mean different things to different people, but the common theme of leadership is a willingness to work hard and do what others won’t. Leaders must be willing to lead by example and take responsibility for their actions, while also encouraging others to do the same.”
How do you balance lacrosse, school, and extracurriculars?
Quinn: “Balancing lacrosse with several rigorous AP classes and a part-time job has taught me invaluable lessons in how to manage my time and still have fun. I have found that planning out my day, especially my time after school, I can complete my obligations and still have time left over to spend with friends and family.”
