St. Joe’s Prep 2017 FO-midfielder Daniel Fisher has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Why did you choose Nova? “It combines a great athletic program and a great academic program, while also being pretty close to home.”
HS team’s Outlook for 2016 HS season? “We have a lot of returning starters from the state runner-up team from last year giving us high hopes for this upcoming season. Hopefully pick up right where we left off.”
Thank You: “I’d to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to play this sport and showcase my talents.
“Coach Keane of South Jersey Shamrocks for introducing me to the sport many years ago and for many years coaching me to make me the best player I could be.
“Coach Bodnar of PFL who took his time to work with me on the side and change me into a true face-off guy. For the past year or two he’s work non-stop to be the best he can make me at this postition.
“Former SJP coach, Coach German who brought this school’s lacrosse team back to life after leading us to the state championship. He showed me talents I never knew I had and how to show them off.
“Without all of these people I would not be anywhere close to where I am now and I am thankful to have them along this process.”
