The Quakertown Community High School is in need of a head boys’ lacrosse coach.

Quakertown’s team is a self funded club that has obtained provisional approval from the school board to compete for the Quakertown Community High School.

Currently we fund the coach salary, busing, referees, and team equipment though the collection of club dues, and fundraising and activities.

We are starting year 2 of a 3 year plan to become a fully fledged varsity sport.

The rest of the plan is as follows:

Year 2 – self funded – Varsity schedule (add JV if enough boys)

Year 3 – self funded – Suburban One League schedule

Year 4 – school funded – Suburban One League schedule

Our inaugural season was the spring 2015. We played a JV schedule and were undefeated,

This coming season we will be competing in a independent varsity schedule. 11 games have been scheduled so far, with 14 being the goal.

Practice days and times are flexible. We have the facilities at the high school at our disposal, schedule depending.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a program from the ground up into something special.

Previous HS coaching experience and/or playing experience at collegiate level is required. Interested individuals must obtain all required clearances. This is a paid position but coaching only position.

We would like to get this position filled ASAP, so the boys can be prepared for the upcoming spring season.

Please send Lacrosse resume and salary requirements to pfgrubb@gmail.com.
