Shipley School 2016 midfielder/attackman Amir Fluellen has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Salisbury University.

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Salisbury because I believe academically it will provide me with all of the tools I will need in order to be successful in any endeavors I want to pursue after college. Salisbury is truly a comforting place where I can thrive on and off the field. I also believe in coach (Jim) Berkman’s winning mindset and his commitment to making his players better on and off the field.”
Outlook for 2016 HS season? “Our team is filled with a talented mix of sophomores, juniors and seniors that will look to win an FSL title. Offensively, we will be very strong, with continued practice and a work filled winter we will be very competitive.”
