Cornell commit Jeff Teat collected an amazing eight goals and three assists in The Hill Academy’s 16-11 win over the U.S. under-19 men’s national team today at Ohio State University in a special scrimmage.

The Hill Academy, which plays a Fall schedule, features 10 members of the Canadian training team. Canada is expected to be the major challenger to Team USA in the FIL World Championships July 7-16 in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
Teat scored Hill’s first two goals and had a hat trick five minutes into the second quarter to key a 9-2 run that gave his team a 10-5 lead.

Drew Supinski, a recent Haverford School grad and freshman midfielder at Johns Hopkins, had two goals for Team USA. Also playing were midfielder/attackman Dox Aitken (Haverford School, Virginia commit), attackman Grant Ament (Haverford School, PennState freshman) and defenseman Noah Lejman (Haverford School, Penn freshman). Attackman Michael Sowers (Upper Dublin, Princeton commit) was present but did not play and face-off specialist Christian Feliziani (Episcopal Academy, Ohio State signee) was present but did not play due to an injury.
Training sessions for Team USA were be held on Friday and Saturday at Ohio State. Buckeyes coach Nick Myers is the head coach.

The final 23-man US roster (and alternates) will be announced in mid-January following the inaugural Team USA Spring Premiere, Jan. 8-10, 2016 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.
Hill dominated at the faceoff X as one of Myers’ commits, Justin Inacio, won 20 of 30 faceoffs.
The U.S. went on three-goal third-quarter run on scores from Alex Roesner, Timmy Kelly and Mac O’Keefe to pull within 12-8,but Teat later scored two more to put it away.
“That was lots of fun,” Teat said to Lacrosse Magazine. “You kind of feed off the adrenaline. I think our team gets up for big games which is a good trait to have. A lot of us play with each other in box [Canadian leagues] or against each other. We know our strengths. We get so used to playing with each other that it just comes natural.”
O’Keefe, a Penn State commit, and Kelly, a North Carolina freshman, scored three goals each for the U.S.
