Frankford 2016 midfielder/attackman Khalil Lindsey has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Delaware Valley University.
Khalil Lindsey ledger:
High school: Frankford
Graduation year: 2016
Position: midfielder/attackman
College choice: Delaware Valley University
Club affiliation: Philly Boyz Lax
Lacrosse honors: 2 consecutive years All Public League
Academic honors: Over a dozen honor roll mentions (3.94 GPA)

Why did you choose DelVal: “My first time coming to the campus for a tour was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable college experiences I had. It only got better the second time. The more I spoke to coach Merc (Gary Mercadante) and learned about the university the better I felt about DVU as the place to help me go into the career I want and play with a great group of guys on the field.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016: “We’re working hard to return to the Public League championship and win it this time. We’ve worked hard to build this program from the ground up since I was a freshman and when I leave a want to leave a 1st place trophy behind.”
Thank You: “My family and friends have been a major help for me during this journey. Their support has pushed me to constantly work hard to grow as a person and player. They give me the extra intensity I need in the final minutes of every game to push just a little more. I couldn’t be more grateful.”
Other schools considered: St. Joe’s, Villanova, Temple, Drexel, and Loyola MD
