What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose this school? “I chose Fairfield University because of the strong academics as well as the direction that the lacrosse program is heading in under Coach (Andy) Copelan. I also wanted a smaller school in the New England area that also has strong networks to cities like New York.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season?
“I believe that our team is going to have a very strong year. We return most of our players from last year and gain a couple players that were injured. We have a good mixture of older and younger players that are ready to compete everyday. I also believe that Coach McEvoy, McCormick, Mackrides, Holmes, and Haus are going to have us well prepared for the teams that we will be battling against.”

Thank You: “First, I would like to thank my parents for all the time and effort that they have put in for me. They have supported me in every decision that I have made and I really appreciate that.

“I would also like to thank Mr. Montgomery, Mr. McGuane, Mr. Dewey and all of my youth coaches from West Chester Lacrosse that taught me the game and helped me refine my skills.

“In addition, I want to thank all of my Malvern coaches: Coach McEvoy, Macfarlane, Mackrides, McCormick, Holmes, and Haus. Their hard work and dedication is represented everyday on and off of the field. They all put in extra hours to make sure that we are in the best shape physically and mentally. Their are no words to describe how thankful I am to be able to play under this great coaching staff. They were very instrumental in me being able to commit to Fairfield University.

“Another person that I want to thank is Coach Mueller. He has taught me so many things on the field that has helped me out with my game. Every clinic and practice that I have had with him has turned me into a better player.

“The NXT club has also helped me out tremendously during my time with them. Coach Manney, Hayes, and coach Kupp taught me so many things on the field and during the recruiting process. I was lucky enough to learn from their expertise and professionalism. Jim Schorn was also a major contributor to the growth of my game with the Man Up club and has always supported me.

“Dan Deckelbaum has also helped me a lot in the weight room as well as the field. Without his training I would not be where I am today, so I would like to thank him for all the help that he has given me.”
