Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) and Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. announced today the 2016 Under Armour® All-America Lacrosse games will be held on Saturday, July 2 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, MD. The 11th annual game will feature 88 of the nation’s top male and female high school seniors in a North versus South format.Under-Armour-Lacrosse

Under Armour All-Americans are selected by a panel of lacrosse experts at Inside Lacrosse magazine. The year-long process includes input from college and high school coaches from across the country as well as nominations from the general public. All-America nominations for the class of 2016 can be submitted to http://www.insidelacrosse.com/ua/all-american-form

The four days of All-America events are highlighted by the girls game at 5PM followed by the boys contest at 8PM. ESPNU will once again provide live coverage of the event.

Last year a total of 47 former Under Armour All-Americans earned 1st, 2nd or 3rd Team All-America honors at the college level. Twelve Under Armour All-American alumni also took home their college conference’s Player of the Year honor in 2015.

The Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Underclass Lacrosse Tournament Expands

The Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Underclass Tournament will be held from June 30-July 3 in conjunction with the All-America senior games. For the first time, boys and girls regional teams from Canada and the Southwest will compete against teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate NY, Washington, D.C. and West.

Also with the addition of rising freshmen (class of 2020) for the first time, the Underclass divisions will be split in two. The Highlight division will include student-athletes from the class of 2017 and 2018, while the Command division will feature players from the graduating classes of 2019 and 2020.

Last year, 57 of the 88 seniors who were All-Americans also competed in the event as an Underclass star for their respective region in 2014 or 2013.
