Upper River Lax is sponsoring a face-off clinic at the indoor facilities at the Phelps School this Saturday, January 9. The two and a half hour session is limited to only eight spots to make sure everyone gets great instruction and is tuned up for the spring.Image may be NSFW.

“We’re looking for guys who want to get ahead of the curve and be ready for the spring” said Coach Shawn Kaplan. “The indoor field is a great place to get in some quality time on ground balls before the season starts.”
Kaplan was the top face-off specialist and Ground Ball Award winner at Ohio State from 2011-14 and starred at Plymouth Whitemarsh. He is coaching at Lower Merion High School while working on his Masters in Education at St. Joseph’s University.
Upper River Sports runs summer development camps on the Main Line in addition to clinics year round, and is focused on making sure every athlete gets individual focus and is developed as a player, whether it’s a one-day clinic or a summer-long camp.
