Episcopal Academy 2019 midfielder Gabe Furey has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Virginia.

What will you major in/study? Leaning towards Pre-Med
Why did you choose this school? “I chose the University of Virginia for its ability to balance great academics and high-level lacrosse.” The program, campus, and tradition are awesome. At UVA, I could have the chance to win a national championship, have future opportunities outside of lacrosse, and become a better man.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “I believe Episcopal will have a very strong year with two returning attackmen, three high D1 defensemen, five-plus very good middies, and two of the best face-off men in the country. As well, Coach Hayes and our senior captains know extremely well how to coach a program like Episcopal’s.”
