Summer 2016 Showcase camps

Boys Philly Showcase Camps 2017-18s & 2019-20s, by NXT’s Showcase Lacrosse, June 27-29 at Saint Joseph’s University. Division I coaches coach every team at the camp. Athletes go through college-style practices, workouts and film sessions. Campers, split into the two age divisions, experience a box lacrosse session. Last year, campers at both camps got to learn box lacrosse from Denver associate head coach Matt Brown, who helped the Pioneers win a national championship last spring. Next Level Video, NXTsports’ official video partner, films all games at both Showcase Camps in broadcast-quality high definition. Video packages are available for purchase. Blue Chip 225 Recruiting Showcase camps for 2016, directed by Ted Spencer, at UMass Amherst. Blue Chip 225’s goal is to provide showcase opportunities for all college bound players. It offers an Elite Divison for players who have potential to play at a top 20 school and a Varsity Division for those players whose goals include college lacrosse at the DII , DIII, club, and NJCAA. The Blue Chip staff is of all college coaches; they invite and encourage observing coaches and videocast both Varsity and Elite all star games nationwide. Blue Chip offers quality videography and recruiting software apps for coaches to track players during programs.

Summer Skills Camps

Fusion Lacrosse camps at Cape Henlopen Delaware. Professional Stars teach and bond with players in a relaxed and fun environment, with an ample combination of recreation and lacrosse activities.
CAMP #1 [June 20th-23rd]

Ages: current 4th-10th graders (2024-2018)
All meals and lodging will be provided. Camp will include at least 4 current and former professional players. Additional College stars will assist as well. There will be at least two, 2-hour lacrosse sessions everyday. In addition there will be swimming, surfing, disc golf, volleyball, basketball, and a variety of awesome camp games.

We go over situational aspects through white board discussions, homework assignments, and drill work to push you to your limits! Never played before? Every day campers will be working on the fundamentals of lacrosse through dynamic drill work, fun games, and team challenges. Black Bear Lacrosse Camp are built for everyone. The directors are firm believers in using both Differentiated instruction (one size doesn’t fit all, build the camp towards the skill sets of our players!) as well as Diagnostic instruction (their performance leads to use using one of two new drills.)

The goal of the HEADstrong Lacrosse is to develop a complete student athlete who is competitive on the field and in the classroom. With a 10:1 athlete to counselor ratio we can ensure your child receives the attention they need. Players will learn the fundamentals of individual, group and team lacrosse skills in a positive atmosphere. Each day there will be guest’s appearances from professional lacrosse players, coaches and cancer survivors; who will share their stories of hope. Campers will also receive complimentary HEADstrong Lax Tank and Laces.

Description: The original Quickstick Lacrosse Camp location! Since 1993 boys have been enjoying camp at La Salle and our camp has grown every year. This camp highlights stick skills, team concepts, and the much anticipated camp tournament.
Campers enjoy live DJ music on the field, lunch for purchase in the school cafeteria, guest speakers in the lecture hall, and a high fidelity action packed video session in the “star trek” room. The last four years this camp has SOLD OUT with over 225 total campers….so send your registration in early!
Quickstick Combine, June 27 – 29, 9:00 AM – 2:30, Boys Entering 5th thru 9th grade
Description: La Salle College Highschool Quickstick Combine is a specialty lacrosse camp designed to focus on stick work, shooting, speed and strength. Campers will experience specific drills and exercises to dramatically improve these key areas. This camp is for boys entering 5th through 8th grade and are considered to be intermediate to advanced players.

Million Lacrosse Camps, for boys aged 8 to 17, at the Perkiomen School, June 21-24, elite teaching lacrosse camps in the country. Every camper will receive a free warrior lacrosse stick. Million Lacrosse teaches basics to younger, less experienced players and more challenging skill sets to more accomplished players for over 20 years Mark Million (the owner) is on the field and DIRECTS every camp and oversees every aspect of the week. All facets of the game for all positions are covered in creative teaching settings, using both large group lectures and small intimate teaching scenarios
Every camper receives a personalized written evaluation detailing detailing strengths and weaknesses and direction on how to become a better player.

Upper River Lacrosse development camps, on the Main Line outside of Philadelphia, July 5-10 and 11-17. This summer camp is divided into two parts, with the first week focusing on skills and the second week bringing all the campers together to form a team that will compete in a tournament at the end of the week. Campers are welcome both locally and from across the nation. Position experts from major universities and professional teams will be at camp throughout the week, ensuring that campers get specialized attention.
In addition to sharpening skills for the high school season, Upper River is set up to help players decide how they want to advance their game. Campers will get exposure to a number of college coaches with connections that will be beneficial throughout the college recruiting process. There will also be a live presentation on recruiting for athletes and their families.
Housing is provided at Villanova University for one or both weeks of camp.. For Tournament Week, current 8th and 9th graders are eligible to apply, and anyone between the ages of 12-16 is eligible for Skills Week.

AILA Integrated Summer Field and Box Lacrosse Academy, July 18-21, at Bryn Athyn College. Joining AILA President and Coach Johnny Mouradian and the AILA Staff this summer is All-World (Team USA) and All-Pro (Florida Launch) Defender and Bryn Athyn College Head Coach, Tucker Durkin. Along side of him is La Salle College HS/Penn State Alum and current Academy of the New Church Head Coach, Rob Forster.
The ALIA’s Integrated Summer Academy will take place in mid July with day, extended day and overnight opportunities that feature AILA’s In|Crosse System, developed by Mouradian. Players will have participate in drills and live scrimmages in both the box and field while honing their lacrosse skills, techniques and literacy.
In|Crosse education and training, AILA’s proprietary system, leverages the integration and convergence of the indoor version of lacrosse with the field game. The cutting edge program teaches bio-mechanics, principles, strategies and tactics of indoor lacrosse taking advantage of the several features like small goals (4’x 4’9), 30 second shot clock, five on five lacrosse, players learn to play offense and defense, to name a few. Integrated programs contribute to the building blocks of lacrosse literacy, developing well rounded field players by taking advantage of the many features of indoor lacrosse and transferring the benefits to their field game.

Bucks Select Summer Camp, Grades 3 to 8, 5-8 p.m., at Central Bucks East High July 25-28.
The Bucks Select Summer Camp is geared towards players of all skill levels for those in grades 3rd – 8th. The camps combine rigorous lacrosse training from an experienced staff of College and High School coaches. The focus will be on teaching skills and concepts of live game situations in order to strengthen players’ confidence to make quality decisions on the field.

Fusion Futures year-round development instruction is a program designed by Fusion Lacrosse, for grades 3rd-6th. Futures mimics the Fusion Elite platform, with development and elite instruction at its core. Enrollment is OPEN. Here’s is what you are getting as a Fusion Future team member:
At least 50 hours of development with professional players Kevin Crowley (MLL, NLL, World games MVP) and Steven Holmes (MLL and NLL vet), and High School Coordinators Matt McCormick, Ryan Sankey, and Kevin Philibin. This staff among others works with your sons for every single hour of practice time.
Year-round experience: Futures participates in fall training and tournaments, winter training and tournaments, and summer training and tournaments.
Box Training:Fusion founders; Kevin Crowley and Steven Holmes, have nearly 15 years of professional box lacrosse experience between them. They are experts at teaching and utilizing the box game as a tremendous tool for outdoor success. Learning and developing the box game at a young age is crucial!
