St. Augustine Prep (NJ) 2016 Faceoff Midfielder Bill McMenamin has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Fairfield University.

Why did you choose Fairfield? “One of my main reasons for choosing Fairfield was the Coaching Staff. Coach (Andy) Copeland and his staff were amazing from the very start and I can’t wait for the opportunity to play for them. The program is a strong, established program that is continuing to build and I feel it’s a great opportunity to be part of the next step forward.
“I loved the all-around atmosphere that Fairfield presented from the location, to the athletic facilities, to the Academic tradition it upholds. It is a great fit for me personally.”
Thank You: “First and foremost I want to thank my parents, sister, cousins, extended family, and friends who supported me in everything that they’ve done. I wouldn’t be anywhere without them and they’re the reason I have this opportunity.
