.@LongstrethLAX girls’ recruit: North Brunswick (NJ) 2016 MF Mehalick (SJ Select) commits to Marist

North Brunswick Township High School (NJ) 2016 midfielder Samantha Mehalick has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Marist College.

Club Affiliation: South Jersey Select

Lacrosse Honors: Part of the 2013 and 2014 New Jersey National Brine Lacrosse Classic Team, 2014 and 2015 Greater Middlesex County Player of the Year

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Marist? “I visited Marist last out of all the schools I was looking at and I just knew it was the one. I loved the campus, the coaching staff, the team and everything about it.”

Thoughts on your HS team’s season? “I thought we had a strong season, although we could have finished the season stronger than we did. We went undefeated in our conference which was a big accomplishment.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank all of the coaches and teammates I have had throughout my high school and club lacrosse years, for pushing me to be the best player I could be. I would also like to thank my parents for supporting me and helping me throughout this entire process.”
