BaggataGirls™ Winter Clinics: at Main Line Sports Center (Grades K-12) Berwyn, PA), (Sessions #1 and #2), which will take place at Main Line Sports Center in Berwyn from November 2016 through February 2017. Sessions available to girls in Grades K-4, 5-8 and 9-12 (please check website for schedules).
Proven program with focus on teaching the FUNdamentals, but with a Flair. Novel drills, concepts and language players can understand, relate to and retain – all in a high energy / supportive setting.

Drexel Lacrosse Indoor Stickwork Clinics. The clinics, for girls in grades 3 to 7 and 8 to 12 will be held on Dec. 6, 13 and 20 at Drexel University and are being run by the Drexel Women’s Lacrosse Program.

Description of clinics: The series of indoor clinics will heavily focus on fundamental stick work that can be applied in all situations on the field. ULTIMATE JUMP training series by Ultimate Lacrosse, forr all 2017 an 2018 girls. ULTIMATE JUMP is open to any 2017 Committed and Uncommitted player who wants to pursue the next level of lacrosse, as well as any 2018 Committed or Uncommitted player who wants to add to their normal club season. ULTIMATE JUMP has been designed to specifically maximize each player’s individual growth as an athlete so that the transition to college is seamless. Our program will JUMP start your college career by providing an intense lacrosse development from top to bottom to make you the complete player. Pennsylvania Lacrosse Clinics, run by Taylor Cummings Lacrosse, on Dec. 3 at Radnor High School. The event is sponsored by STEPS Lacrosse. Session 1 is being held from 9 a.m.-noon for girls in Grades 6 to 8. The fee is $100. There is an optional draw clinic from 12:30-1:30 p.m. for all ages. The fee is $15 for that session. Session 2 is being held for players in Grades 9 to 12 from 2-5 p.m. The fee is $100.

Greg Cattrano Co-Ed Goalie Clinic at The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr on Sunday, Dec. 11 from 2-5 p.m. This is the 16th year the popular clinic will be held at Shipley, hosted by Shipley Lacrosse and head coach Mark Duncan. The session runs at Shipley School’s Upper School Yarnell Gymnasium.
The event is open to goalies or all ages, male or female. Group Discounts for clubs with more than five goalies.
Participants will receive 1-on-1 training with the former NCAA, MLL and NLL star goalie, who has been training goalies for almost two decades. Free Warrior Void Lyte Goalie Stick for all paid clinic attendees.

Winter Tournament
Gait Heritage Girls Winter Classic, a 5v5 girls’ lacrosse clinic and tournament, Monday, January 16th at Maplezone Sports Institute in Aston, PA. The Winter Classic is expected to attract top youth, middle school and high school clubs and teams from New York and the Mid-Atlantic Region. The event, presented by Heritage Lacrosse, will feature player clinic sessions conducted by Gary Gait, Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Syracuse University (and others), followed by a competitive 5v5 tournament played in a championship format. Registration will open Sunday, November 27th. Space in this exclusive event is limited and is expected to fill up fast.
Format/Highlights:
• 5v5 half-court play (4 field players and a goalie); 6 field players/team minimum; 9 field players/team maximum.
• 3-station field player clinic (and goalie clinic) will precede tournament play.
• Team coaches are welcome to attend demonstration of Canadian skills and box lacrosse concepts that translate well to 5v5 format and the field game.
• Multiple 12 minutes games; full checking for middle and high school brackets.
Brackets Organized by Grade/Graduation Year (registrations will be accepted and brackets formed based on interest on a “first come first served” basis until brackets and/or the event is full):

1st Start Lacrosse is moving indoors for the winter to three different locations. 1st Start Lacrosse is a program where the basics to the game are broken down and taught in a fun and exciting environment. It’s for children aged 3-to-7 and it will be coached by all former players now educators in the Philly area who have an extreme passion for the game.
1st Start is a 6 week program on Sundays starting January 15 where each session will be 60 minutes long. Lacrosse sticks (plastic) will be provided at every session along with a 1st Start STARTer pack, where each child will receive a 1st Start T-Shirt, Sweatband, and Sticker!

Winter showcases
The Launch Showcase, a girls’ recruiting event for players interested in Division II, III and NAIA colleges. The event will be held on Dec. 4 at Spooky Nook Sports Complex (indoor turf bubble) 2913 Spooky Nook Rd., Manheim, PA 17545.
This premier girls’ event allows players graduating in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 to enter individually and showcase themselves before Division II, III, and NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) college coaches while learning more about the game, networking with athletes and coaches, and acquiring more knowledge about the recruiting process.

The Draft, by Ultimate Events, Dec. 10-11 at Spooky Nook, Manheim, PA. Age Groups – 2017s to 2020s. This showcase is only for nominated players
• Many of the Nation’s top DII and DIII institutions will be in attendance; Due to time of year and NCAA Recruiting Rules, DIs will not be in attendance.
• Participants will take part in individual drills (run by DII and DIII coaches) and small game sessions, in order to most comprehensively showcase their talent
• Teams will be “Drafted” from these sessions and put into teams that will compete full field
• Top DII and DIII college coaches will be running all drills and will be the coaches for the drafted teams
• Participants will be playing in the LARGEST Sports Complex in North America: Spooky Nook Sports!
• High Resolution Video will be taken all day and distributed to all college coaches in the nation

Taking place INDOORS on Friday December 30th, this one-day event will give the Top Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior players in the country an opportunity to demonstrate their talents in front of premier college lacrosse programs while learning new techniques and skills that they can apply to their game.
The Frozen 150 Showcase is centered around three main components:
1. Instructional Clinic: In two different 75-minute sessions, players will participate in position-specific training led by NCAA college coaches from some of the nation’s top programs.
2. Recruiting Q&A: Immediately following lunch, athletes will sit down and listen to a panel of Division I, II and III coaches provide insight into the recruiting process. This will be a 30 minute moderated session.
3. Showcase Games: Players will be rostered on predetermined and equally balanced teams according to their graduation year and position. Each team will play three 45 minute games in front of college coaches in an intimate and competitive environment.
This is an open registration event that will feature some of the best High School girls lacrosse players in the Mid-Atlantic. Gatorade ensures that every athlete at our events is well-hydrated and fueled with stations at ever field. Gametime Footage has their cameras ready to make sure your highlight reel doesn’t miss a single play.
The 88 Showcase, for girls in the Classes of 2018 and 2019 at the Total Turf Complex at 614 Lambs Road, Pitman, NJ 08071 (15 minutes from Philadelphia) on January 2, 2017.
Limited to a total of 88 girls, The 88 Showcase is a Micro-Showcase designed to truly spotlight every player in attendance. Players will have multiple opportunities to be coached by event staff College Coaches as they rotate through high level stations. After players and coaches participate in a Recruiting Q & A, players will play modified small sided games to showcase their abilities to college coaches on hand. Team size will be very limited in order to maximize the exposure for each player. This Micro- Showcase format allows the players and coaches to really connect on multiple levels therefore making the evaluation process much improved. If a girls’ lacrosse player in the class of 2018 or 2019 is considering DII or DIII college lacrosse, this will be a tremendous opportunity for them to showcase their abilities and learn from some of the best college coaches around.

Spring league
Maplezone Sports Institute Girls Atlantic Club Lacrosse League for Middle School and Youth teams. Maplezone Sports Institute (MSI), powered by Heritage Lacrosse, is pleased to announce the launch of the Atlantic Club Lacrosse League, a youth girls spring league for 2017 that will feature competitive travel club teams with players in the graduating classes of 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Doubleheaders will be scheduled for each team on alternating Sundays. Games are 12-minute running quarters with a minute-long break in between quarters and a five-minute halftime.
Teams play eight regular season games before playoff Sunday that determines the league champion by graduating class. The dates are March 26; April 9 and 30 and May 14 and 21. All games are played on all turf fields at the MSI Sports Village located in Aston, PA. Schedules, results and standings will all be available real time.
The league uses modified Federation rules with minor tweaks. There is limited contact with an emphasis on player safety, especially when it comes to head contact and unsportsmanlike play.
League Overview: (8 games / team + playoffs); Each team plays 8 games, plus playoffs; Play 2 games/day, every other Sunday; Minimizes conflicts, maximizes value of each game day; Games comprised of four 12-minute quarters; Game Days – March 26, April 9, April 30, May 14 (Playoffs on May 21)
