Why did you choose this school? “UVM was a good fit for me academically and athletically. I have a chance for an education at a respected university, in a smaller class setting while still having the chance to play at the highest level.”

Reflections on high school career: “I was fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute at the varsity level all 4 years. Thank you to all of the players and coaches that have helped me along the way. I will always remember my time playing at Methacton. Thank you coach Ryan.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank all of my youth, scholastic and club coaches as you have all made an impact on my development from back as far as U9. A special thanks to coaches Nostrant and McKinney for the great club experiences and assistance navigating the recruiting process. Most importantly thank you mom and dad for the years of chauffeuring, travel and support.”

Coach Nat Ryan’s comments: “I am so excited for Kyle as he moves on to the next level of the game. Kyle has been, in his time here, not only an outstanding player, but an excellent leader and teammate. It has been one of the great joys of my professional career to watch Kyle grow as a young man over the past four years. Our program will miss his skill, work, and leadership as he moves on to bigger and better things and we wish him all the best in doing so. I’d also like to thank Kyle and the entire Derrickson family for their continued support of our program through their time here.”
