McKenzie Blake, Gabi Connor and Jaimie McCormick led a balanced attack with four goals each to lead Haddonfield to an 18-11 victory today in the New Jersey Group 2 state championship at Kean University.

Haddonfield won its first state title
The win gave the Haddons (21-1) their first state championship and first berth in the Tournament of Champions. The Haddons, seeded fourth, play a semifinal game Wednesday (7 p.m.) against top-seeded and Group 3 champion Moorestown at Middletown South.
Caroline Beckett collected three goals and and assist and Ashley Campo added two goals and two assists for Haddonfield, which used a 5-0 run to seize a 5-1 first-half lead it would never relinquish. Olivia Conquest was strong in goal with 10 saves
