When Quinn Amato was in fourth grade, he made a decision that ended up shaping his life. Then a baseball player, Amato was with friends at a garage sale with a couple of lacrosse sticks on sale.
One sale later, a future Division I prospect was born. Since then, Amato’s been a Showcase Lacrosse fixture. The Naperville Central (Ill.) standout played in the Can-Am Showcase and Boys Philly Showcase as a sophomore, and he’s finishing off that same double dip this weekend as he and more than 460 other 2017s and 2018s head to Episcopal Academy for the Philly Showcase.
Last year was a learning experience for Amato, who figures to be an even bigger factor this time around.
