The Athletic Department at Cedar Crest is accepting applications from qualified candidates for a graduate assistant (GA) who will serve as an assistant coach in lacrosse along with an administrative role within the department. The GA will assist in player development on an individual and team basis, recognize individual talent for recruiting specific to team requirements through ongoing assessment of team performance, and inform players of their responsibilities, duties, and roles. The GA will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the athletic program including developing and implementing initiatives that best serve the student population. This part time position includes on campus housing, 12 credits annually and an annual stipend.
A Bachelor’s degree and prior collegiate level lacrosse playing, coaching or athletic office experience is required. Knowledge of NCAA rules and acceptance in to a graduate program at Cedar Crest are also required. In addition, a valid driver’s license, applicable clearances, CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are required.
Cedar Crest College is a Division III, four-year independent liberal arts college for women with 9 Varsity sports.
