Winter Showcases
College Lacrosse Showcase, at Maplezone Sports Institute, Dec. 28. The inaugural event was a success last year and directors look to build off that by giving players the opportunity to showcase all skill sets for college coaches. Players (Class of 2016 to 2019) will be put through a series of sports performance testing. Results will be recorded and given to the college coaches to see how each player measures and ranks. Once the sports performance testing is completed the players will receive a recruitment talk from the coaches in attendance (14 last year). The session will end with a Q&A from player to coaches. Players will then break off into positions where players will receive skill based instruction from the college coaches. This is a key evaluation by the coaches to see how quickly a player can adapt as well as how coach-able they are. Those skills will then be tested in game simulations. The day will conclude with live play with the coaches divided up coaching each team.
Location: Maplezone Sports Institute, 1451 Conchester Highway, U.S. Route 322, Garnet Valley, PA 19061

Summer Tournaments
2016 National 175 Best of the Best Club Team Showcase, HS Division Locations – Mitchel Athletic Complex, Nassau Community College, Kellenberg Memorial HS, Cantiague Park. Youth Division Location TBA.
The National 175 Best of the Best Club Team Showcase was conceived on the premise that the strongest programs in the country want to compete against each other in order to establish which program really is the best team in each graduation year across the nation. Much as the efforts of rankings in high school or college lacrosse are not an exact science, neither is this, but we are attempting to establish a team showcase tournament that includes what the National 175 organizers believe are the strongest programs in the country. Our team showcase is a team event whereby the limited teams invited and attending have been carefully selected. Each of these programs/teams have been recognized as top programs committed to the development of the student athlete and with players seeking to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Summer Showcases
National 175 Best of the Best Individual Showcase, June 29, 2016, Mitchel Athletic Complex, 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale, NY 11553. Welcome to the third annual National 175 Best of the Best Individual Showcase. This showcase, being held prior to the well known and highly competitive Best of the Best Club Team Showcase, is specifically designed for student athletes seeking to maximize their exposure by showcasing their skills against very strong competition and playing in front of a large quantity of high quality college coaches. This one day showcase event, 8am-5pm, will offer a special opportunity for players in the 4 recruiting grades to be seen by what we expect to be a very large number of college coaches. In order to maintain the quality of this event, the showcase is committed to keeping each graduation year attendance to approximately only 175 players per graduation year. Click here to register
National 175 Summer Showcase, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 110 8th Street, Troy, NY 12180, July 25-27th, 2016. Welcome to the 5th annual 2016 National 175 Summer Showcase hosted at RPI. This is the premier lacrosse recruiting showcase that provides the platform for the most talented players to showcase their abilities in front of college lacrosse coaches seeking to recruit players from all over the lacrosse community. Based on recommendations from our college coaches and some of the major club team directors we have made a decision to move our Flagship National 175 Summer Showcase 2016 event to the PRIME recruiting dates. The recruiting calendar is always a challenge to maneuver, but with an expected dead period surrounding the July 4th holiday likely to be announced in the coming months it is our belief that the weekends in July will be monopolized by the Club team tournaments and that the individual showcases will be better positioned for college coach and top players attendance in the weekday venues.
